Bowling

Thursday was off to the bowling alley fat cats in Ogden. I had never been there. It is quite a place with good pizza and ice cream cookie sundaes oh and I can't forget the breadsticks yum, also there are arcades and games.
The kids of course wanted to ride on the rides and Rorke did not want to get off. I think he rode 6 times.

So much fun. I hope we get to do it again!

The next morning we were off to Utah. The roads were awful but we got there and were safe. We saw 9 cars off the side of the road that were in accidents, 2 were roll overs. I felt really bad for them. We had a ton of fun in Utah as you will see. Monday night I spent with Rachel we went to our usual El Matador. She is looking very pregnant now. I have not seen her since July and she was not far along then. She has about 2 weeks left now. It was fun to see her and I hope all goes well with the birth of her baby girl. Tuesday it was off to dinner with Ryan, Jessie and Byron. We have a yearly Christmas dinner and it is always fun and humorous. The waiter was a little odd but we made it fun. I miss you guys! That is all of us above. Adrian and I were able to run together (for the first time ever I think) almost every other day. It was fun running with her even though she is in better shape and can run faster than me.

Start of Christmas Vacation

The start of our Christmas Vacation was a stop at the Stierle's Home. We were able to spend the night with them. We had some good food at the famous "Poncho's". I finally got to eat there. Then we had some laughs (at Grandma Stierle's expense mostly). Sorry you fell. I hope you are feeling better. Then we got to open some presents. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa I know Rorke liked his book, dragon and his race cars and ramp. Also thanks for the yearly ornament. After all that fun Paul, Kim, Kambree and Londyn came for a quick visit and Rorke was able to give Kambree her gift. Thanks for the visit all!

Scarfs

So we had the missionaries over for dinner and one of them had a scarf and Rorke was playing with it the whole night. When she left he was not happy that she took her scarf. So we got a couple out and Rorke was having a fabulous time. I should have taken more pictures.

Racing Day!

There is BreAnn and I running our first 5K together. It was a little cold and alot snowy but I am so glad we got to do it. It was so much fun and we have been training for it for about 15 weeks. It has been so much fun and I am so grateful to BreAnn for pushing me when I needed it. We did it in 26 min and 27 seconds which was awesome and we were really excited but then when we were all done they said it was not a true 5k because of the snow the route had to be changed so they said it was just under a 5K. Bummer. So my first 5k is just under a 5k. Oh well it was so much fun and I can't wait for the next one. Maybe this one will really be a 5k. I am so grateful for Gunnar and Rorke coming out to support us. Gunnar took the picture of us running. The great thing is that we didn't come in last. They guy that came in first ran it in 14 min. That is just crazy!
Here we are just about ready for the race!

My number!

THanksgiving/sledding

We got to go sledding with the cousins and had a blast. Rorke really loved it. I was suprised. He was so comfortable I thought he could just fall asleep. He had a fun time. I don't think he wanted to get out. It was fun being with the cousins!

Rorke had a good time (we all did) at thanksgiving. It was so nice to have all the family here this time and that we were able to spend time together. Kambree and Rorke are a fun pair and that they are so close in age is so fun!

Park

Random

Church and shoes

Here he is once again in my shoes. This kid is a shoe fanatic!

Cute and ready for church!

Giraffe

He loved seeing himself. He was laughing and kept looking at himself!

He really liked to have his custume on. I think he thought it was a jacket and so he knew he would be going out side. He got to trick or treat at 4 houses and that was plenty.

Parents Visit / Halloween

Rorke had so much fun playing ball with my Mom!
Cutie Giraffe

This was at our wards Trunk or Treat. It was a fun time with a small carnival and Rorke got some good candy. So glad that my Parents were able to be there to see it!

We went out to lunch twice and Rorke I would say enjoyed himself. Good Food!

Love Old Chicago!

We went to the park to take some picture

Lunch date #2

AMEN!

I will be posting some pictures hopefully tomorrow. Why do I always get so behind. It is getting ridiculous. I need to set some me time every now and then. So Rorke has been super cute and growing so much. He is learning so much. My Mom and I counted how many words he is saying and it is up to I think 43. Speaking of Words Rorke just this week learned two more. I love these ones. Jesus (and he points at the picture of Jesus) and now he says amen with us after prayer. While of course he is folding his arms. So adorable. It was so cute last night...I thought Rorke was asleep and Gunnar and I said our nightly prayer and when we were done we hear "AAAAAAAAAAAAmmen" It was so adorable I just cracked up! What a cutie pie we have. Love him so much!!

Stuff...behind once again...

And I am sure it isn't the last!!! It is October now so I just had to have Rorke wear his cute skeleton PJ's. He sure does think he is the King of the Chair and the remote (such a man)

So my favorite little stinker learned a new trick. From who I am not sure but he figured it out anyhow. He went into the Kitchen and then it was just silent. I went out to find him and he had his whole arm down the vent. Got to watch this kid like a hawk. He was so cute about the whole thing it is hard to get mad. I just hope he doesn't get hurt. Lucky for us it is a very slim vent so he can't fit inside. Just an arm or a leg which I would rather not have either. Then again if I am missing anything maybe I should check there!
Again...his chair and remote
So he has been funny lately when I take a picture he gives me this really squinty smile. I think it is adorable but funny that he has decided that is how you smile for a camera!

Baby Shower

We have a new friend and convert to the Church and she is due any day. I decided to have a baby shower for her. Thanks to my MIL and Kim (and Paul) for helping getting everything together. Thanks for all that came and supported Jaime. Some of my favorite Sis. Missionaries got to come. I just wish Sis. Stallion was there too. Darn. We all had a good time and I think she really enjoyed herself. She was baptised just two hours before the shower! Congrats to her and I hope her delivery goes well!
